#17: Because You Like to Laugh
Once I returned from a week’s vacation and found an e-mail from Laura. She’d had a rotten week, but still found a way to laugh about it:
I hope you had a good vacation. I continue to dream about mine, which starts next week. We’re going to the Hill Country, and I’m halfway hoping that I will trip on a large limestone and disappear into a field of wildflowers, to be eaten by a turkey buzzard and my parts scattered across one of Texas’ many poor quality vineyards.
